When you paste or upload text for plagiarism analysis, we process that content solely to generate your originality report. Submitted text is not stored permanently — it is automatically deleted after 30 days along with associated scan results.

We may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data helps us maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.

Cookies and Local Storage

2. How We Use Your Information

To perform plagiarism scans and generate originality reports

Because scan data auto-deletes after 30 days, most submitted content requires no manual deletion request. 7. Children's Privacy

Verifext is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Storage directories are not publicly accessible via HTTP. We implement rate limiting and input validation to reduce abuse. No system is perfectly secure; use our service at your own discretion for highly sensitive material.

9. International Users

Verifext is operated from servers that may be located outside your country. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of data in jurisdictions where our infrastructure resides.
