Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-05-20

Verifext is committed to making verifext.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our current efforts, known limitations, and how to contact us with feedback.

1. Our Goal

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where reasonably practicable for a free web application. Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time audit.

2. Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with headings, landmarks, and labels on form controls
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation for primary actions (scan, copy link, language selector)
  • Sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements in default themes
  • Responsive layout for mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports
  • Alternative text on key brand images and descriptive link text where possible
  • ARIA live regions for dynamic status messages (e.g. scan progress, toast notifications)
  • Reduced motion–friendly animations that do not block core functionality

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA:

  • Some decorative SVG illustrations in blog articles lack extended descriptions
  • Third-party advertising content (Google AdSense) is controlled by Google and may not meet our internal standards
  • Complex scan result visualizations may be difficult to interpret with screen readers — we provide textual summaries alongside scores
  • RTL language support (Arabic) is implemented at the document level; some UI micro-alignments may vary

4. Assistive Technology

Verifext is tested periodically with modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common assistive technologies including screen reader navigation. We welcome reports from users of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

5. Feedback and Contact

If you encounter a barrier on verifext.com, please tell us:

  • The page URL and a description of the issue
  • Your browser and assistive technology (if applicable)
  • What you expected to happen vs. what occurred

Submit via our Contact form (subject: Accessibility) or email accessibility@verifext.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

6. Enforcement & Standards

This statement was prepared on 2026-05-20. We review it when significant design or feature changes are released.
